In the first quarter, KONGSBERG has revenues of NOK 3,721 million and EBITDA of NOK 339 million. During the first months of the year the long-term potential within defence has been confirmed, and several important agreements for maritime and digital solutions have been signed. YARA and KONGSBERG enter into partnership to build world's first autonomous and zero emissions ship

The vessel 'YARA Birkeland' will be the world's first fully electric and autonomous container ship, with zero emissions. Operation is planned to start in the latter half of 2018, shipping products from YARA's Porsgrunn production plant to Brevik and Larvik in Norway.

KONGSBERG Completes Supply of Digital IP CCTV System for New Royal Canadian Fleet Supply Vessel

Germany Chooses Groundbreaking KONGSBERG Integrated Vessel Concept for Advanced Newbuild Research Ship

A double digit multi-million Euro contract was signed by Kongsberg Maritime and Fassmer Werft on 4th April 2017, following the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency's (BSH) approval of KONGSBERG to deliver a unique technical solution based on its ground-breaking Integrated Vessel Concepts for the newbuild research vessel Atair II, which will be built at the Fassmer yard in Berne.

The capabilities of Kongsberg Maritime's cNODE series of transponders for underwater acoustic positioning and data link are expanding with the introduction of cNODE IQAM. The unit offers the ability to log internal sensors and / or customers external sensors, transforming cNODE into a compact, self-contained subsea monitoring system, complete with data processing, positioning and data communication functionality.

KONGSBERG's new HiPAP 102P Portable Acoustic Positioning System for ultra-deep water operations will be shown for the first time at Ocean Business 2017 (stands N1 & P2) this week. Providing full ocean depth positioning and modem capability, HiPAP 102P is designed for accurately tracking ROVs, tow fish and other subsea targets.
