SEACOR Marine Chooses KONGSBERG for Platform Supply Vessel Hybrid Power and DP Upgrade

A new integrated 'Full Picture' technology delivery is set to enable significant operational efficiencies for the MEXMAR owned Platform Supply Vessel, SEACOR Maya. The contract focuses on the integration of a new hybrid power solution designed to meet the strict environmental regulations by decreasing CO2, NOx and SOx emissions, with the added benefit of reducing operating costs through reduced fuel consumption.

Hydroid Delivers First New Generation REMUS 100 Autonomous Underwater Vehicle

UiT K-Lander Recovered

Two K-Lander Systems owned by CAGE (UiT) were recovered from the Barents Sea offshore Svalbard in July and August. Both systems were deployed in October 2016 to collect crucial data to increase the understanding of natural seabed methane release in respect to the seasonal sea ice influence on this area.

New Electric Ferry Project Expands KONGSBERG's Autonomous Vessel Newbuild Project Portfolio

KONGSBERG has signed a Research & Innovation contract with technology acceleration organisation PILOT-E for the development of zero emission, full-electric, autonomous ferry concepts. The overall vision for the PILOT-E Autonomous Ferry concept is to develop a state-of-the-art ferry as an integrated, zero emission aspect of a total national transportation plan.

KONGSBERG Wins EPCI Contract for Newbuild LNG Fuelled RoPax Ferry

Kongsberg Maritime has been awarded an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation contract with Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft, a subsidiary of Siem Group. This is the second RoPax contract that Kongsberg Maritime has been awarded at FSG. The 'Full Picture' contract, valued at approximately €20 million.

Kongsberg Maritime: K-Fleet Voyage Application Verified for New EU MRV Regulations

K-Fleet Voyage, KONGSBERG’s digital application for monitoring ship fuel consumption and emissions has been verified by Ecoxy AS for use under the EU Emission Trading Scheme and the new EU Monitoring, Reporting and Verification for maritime transport regulation. Ecoxy AS is accredited by Norwegian Accreditation as a verifier according to ISO14065 for the ETS and EU-MRV.

Hydroid's REMUS 6000 Plays Key Role in the Discovery of the USS Indianapolis Wreckage
